CRJ 6403/CRJ4863
Dr. Roger Enriquez, College of Public Policy
Summer: May 17 to May 28, 2018
Three credit hours

A summer program with special emphasis on Public Policy, this course provides students the opportunity to see first-hand how different nations approach problems and fashion solutions. The primary learning objectives are gaining factual understanding about international Public Policy and in particular the Spanish system of policing, courts, and corrections. A special focus will center on two problems that challenge many nations: cybercrime and immigration. Students should be able to identify the differences and similarities between the American model and the European model. The program includes visits to the police station of the Foreign Unit of the National Police, cultural visits, and classes at the Universidad Miguel Hernandez de Elche.
