Join the Department of Counseling on this intensive 2-week experience in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca.  Rich in languages and cultures, Oaxaca provides an ideal environment for you to learn about different cultural constructions of mental health, relationships, education, sexuality, and family.  By engaging with Oaxacan students, faculty, and mental health practitioners while abroad, this experiential learning opportunity will help you develop a more sophisticated understanding, appreciation, and openness toward human differences.  Through the program's partnerships and service learning components, you will build your knowledge of indigenous peoples, trans-national children and families, rural education, and migrant support services.

Application Deadline: February 15
All program applicants must click the Apply Now button (found near the top of the page) and complete the application requirements by the deadline. By clicking Apply Now, the application system will display the requirements for your program.
