You can start your internship at the time that suits you – there are internship start dates every month, all-year-round. We recommend applying at least three months in advance to ensure sufficient time for internship placement and visa processing.

Time Commitment

In-person programs usually demand a full-time commitment for your internship (40 hours a week).
Remote and Digital Nomad programs can be full-time (40 hours a week) or part-time (10, 20 or 30 hours a week).

Academic Credit

Our School of Record, Florida A&M University, can issue a transcript for participation in The Intern Group’s internship programs. Each 40 hours of your internship program equates to 1 credit, subject to a minimum of 3 credits and a maximum of 9.

Whether you can receive academic credit for an internship depends on your university’s policies and your individual academic situation. Please carefully read our page on academic credit here.

Program Cost

Our programs have a fee, which covers all of the features described above. Because the programs include housing accommodation, the fee amount depends on the dates/length of your internship. You can look up the exact amounts and full details of the program fees on our website here. Also note that the internships may be either paid or unpaid, subject to the decision of the host company and the rules of your visa.

All students and alumni are welcome to apply to The Intern Group. Please check in with your study abroad office and/or academic advisor to ensure that you meet your home institution's academic requirements.
