The Science of Wellbeing
Explore London, Stockholm and Copenhagen as you discover the factors that contribute to the wellbeing of both individuals and populations. Copenhagen consistently ranks highly on lists of the world’s healthiest and happiest cities and the Danish concept of ‘hygge’ is central to the culture and way of life – find out how and why!

Earn 3 credits from Fairfield University taking The Science of Wellbeing. The aim of this course is to provide an interdisciplinary overview of wellbeing as a scientific construct, with its underpinning biological, psychological, cultural and social determinants, exploring the factors that contribute to the wellbeing of individuals and populations. 

You'll stay in centrally located tourist-class hotels and hostels - and receive breakfast throughout, plus welcome and farewell meals.

You'll have private group discussions with mental health and happiness charities, research centers, and local professionals. Cultural and social activities include guest lectures by local experts, excursions, and cultural sightseeing.
