Explore the complex themes of identity and global citizenship through coursework focused on topics such as intercultural communication; gender, language and power; and teaching languages for social justice. The question of what it means to be a global citizen will be examined through multiple lenses, including the migrant crisis in Europe, and around the world. Students will interact with Asylum seekers in Alicante through intercultural exchanges and volunteer work at local NGOs.
