Universitat Pompeu Fabra Direct Enroll Program

The Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) is an internationally focused research university with English-language offerings in a variety of departments and disciplines from business and humanities to STEM. Choose courses across disciplines and engage in other academic opportunities, including independent research and language courses.

UPF is located in the heart of Barcelona, giving you access to everything the city has to offer from great food and music to sandy beaches and sporting events.

The CAPA UPF program includes comprehensive pre-departure support, orientation, welcome and farewell events, access to the CAPA Barcelona My Global City Calendar, and CAPA Emergency Services, including the CAPA Guardian App. In addition, take advantage of the activities, events, and support services provided by UPF.

Program Fee and Inclusions

  • Enroll in a maximum of 5 courses or the equivalent of 30 ECTS credits, which translates to approximately 15 U.S. credits (may vary depending on your school's policy)
  • Live in shared student resident housing (self-catered) or choose a homestay (with your own room and two meals a day), all within commuting distance to campus
  • Immerse yourself in campus life by taking part in cultural, social, sports, and other extracurricular activities UPF offers
  • 24-hour emergency support
