Learn Japanese in the heart of Tokyo

Courses
KCP International offers two courses: an Intensive Japanese Language course and a Japanese Culture and Society course. Students can earn one year or more of language credit each term (either semester or quarter). The KCP main campus offers all the conveniences with students in mind. It is situated in a quiet residential street in Shinjuku,  the business, entertainment, and shopping center of Tokyo.

Housing

Students can choose to stay with a Japanese family (homestay), in a dormitory, or independently. Both dorm and homestay students receive a local transportation pass between lodging and school. 
 

Learning Outcomes

KCP employs the Direct Method, or full Japanese language immersion, in its language classes. Special emphasis is placed on holistic language education, stressing all four communication skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Founded in 1983, KCP International is recognized as a leader in Japanese language education. It is well known for its prime focus: Japanese language and cultural immersion in Tokyo. The school, designed for the dedicated student, is a convergence of study abroad students, aspiring teachers, interns, professors, and support staff.
